About the Teacher
Brajsundar Das is a dedicated servant of the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, whose life reflects a harmonious synthesis of devotion, learning, and preaching. Born in December 1984 into a cultured Brahmin family, he was introduced to spiritual life from an early age under the affectionate guidance of his mother. These early impressions gradually matured into a firm commitment to bhakti.
In 2002, he joined the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) and, in 2007, received initiation from His Holiness Shri Shrimad Radha Govinda Dasa Goswami Maharaja. From that time onward, he dedicated his life fully to the service of Shri Guru and Gauranga, with particular emphasis on studying, teaching, and disseminating the spotless Purāṇa, the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam.
Since 2007, Brajsundar Das has been residing in Shri rindavan-dhama, the transcendental abode of the Lord, from where he has actively contributed to the establishment and growth of ISKCON Bhagavata Mahavidyalaya centers in India, Europe, and North America. His approach reflects the traditional Vaishnava principle that systematic education, grounded in Śāstra and guided by sādhu, is essential for preserving and transmitting spiritual culture.
Alongside his devotional commitments, he has pursued higher education, holding a Master’s degree in Information Technology and a Master of Arts in History, and is presently engaged in doctoral research. He also serves as the CEO of Vedavarsity, an initiative begun under the guidance of His Holiness Bhakti Dhira Damodara Swami, dedicated to nurturing deep and faithful engagement with Bhāgavata teachings.
Over the years, Brajsundar Das has conducted more than 252 seminars across 22 countries and 184 cities, personally training over 5,786 devotees through the Bhagavata Teachers Training program. His contribution extends to literature as well; he has authored four books and serves as an editor of the Nityaṁ bhāgavata-sevayā e-magazine, encouraging daily hearing and service to the Bhāgavatam.
His life stands as a practical demonstration of the Bhagavatam’s message—that sincere hearing, careful study, and selfless service, when performed under proper guidance, can uplift both the individual and society at large.
